How do I play Sudoku?

Fill every row, column, and 3x3 box with the numbers 1 through 9. Each number appears exactly once in each group. Tap a cell, then tap a number to place it.

What is the Coach tab?

The Coach tab lets you play Sudoku with real-time guidance. Tap any cell to see which numbers could go there. Use the Teach Me button for a full explanation of the next logical move.

Does the AI Coach require an internet connection?

No. All coaching runs entirely on your device. The AI-enhanced coaching uses Apple Intelligence, which processes everything locally. On devices without Apple Intelligence, the coaching still works using built-in strategy analysis.

Which devices support the AI features?

AI-enhanced coaching requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later, or an M-series iPad). The core coaching features work on all devices running iOS 18 or later.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Yes. Everything in Sudoku Glass works completely offline. Puzzles are generated on your device, and all data is stored locally.

How do I save my progress?

Your game saves automatically. If you close the app mid-game, it picks up right where you left off.
